If everyone in our world is connected by six degrees of separation, then I’m about two degrees away from the ten humanitarian workers killed in Afghanistan earlier this month. I’ve met the head of the organisation they worked for, an organisation my work helps funds, and a number of my colleagues have met some of those who died.
